hi All,

these thoughts are so similar to my own, what you all have said just reinstates/resonates everything i feel and think!

i've been pondering on this "zero" point for as long as i can remember and have come to a conclusion as to what i think that zero point may be.

as u say zonabi, that zero pont resembles nothing, but i also see it as it resembles everything that is yet to exsist and exsists as the now, its it's own paradox, it's the point of nothing that at the same time is everything, WE are that zero point and everything that extends out from that point is creation, manifestation of who we are, what we are resonating, what our core vibration is, our spirit, our soul.

So we really are inside ourselves, which possibly we could be inside something else, making up other dimensions, forms, life. Life going on infinitley into more life, life we are yet to discover!
then i spose you are thinking well how does the zero point exsist or not in the first place, and my theory on this is that there are parallel universes and two of these universes came in contact with each other,(the energies of each universe were drawn to each other) creating an explosion which formed our universe today. (the zero point may be the point of before and after of the contact between the two universes!?)
this may be going way off as much as i already am , but i think that these universes are like our parents, they gave birth to the universe, to us, and maybe just maybe this universal explosion is the same as when conception occurs from the most loving and natural form of expression of love to another human being (well in most people it is!?) ......SEX! (Synergistic Energy Xchange)
so i believe we are the zero point, manifest into all we have become, into the now, experiencing all parts of oneself, to remember again what we really are, as by manifesting in this reality we have chosen to forget who we really were to go through what we are now to remember once again what we really are, then once again to choose what we want to experience or what we want to be, that is our eternal freedom, our freedom of choice of what we want to be!

(phew!, get your head around that one!)

NOW is the time to enjoy and experience all the drama of this reality, to be with all the people we love, to feel all the emotions, to increase the strength of our character, to lighten our soul, then for you to keep in your heart the knowledge and the feeling of what you know you are, and to love it uncondtionally.

keeping this in mind we will begin to find our hapiness once again, then life will once again be seen as it should be, why it is the way it is, to not judge others, to see that everyone and everything has its purpose, to have an unconditional love for everyone and everything.

and all this came from nothing!

and you guys thought you were rambling!

oh just had a thought, if the zero is nothing and everything, does that mean it could be what we could percieve as what a god or could be, the energy, that isnt energy that makes everything, is it the oneness that we perceive to it to be!?

im thinking too much!

dale,

continue rambling! those ideas and words are very thought provoking, to say the least.

and it kind of resembles, in some way (or at least in my mind) some of the "paradoxical" theories and mentalities that i have as of now. they are along the lines of "nothing is true or false, its both, and neither" kind of thinking. its about not giving away to singular philosophies but knowing that they all add to the big picture.

but its also about living in the "now", which is why i think it relates to this discussion and more closely your previous post.

i undoubtably agree with your points of humans hacking away at "time" by slicing it up into itsy bitsy pieces, which probably resulted in much of our own enslavement.

but yea, zero is quite the magic number. its the standstill, the void, the nothingness from where things come from.

A couple of ideas.

1) Chicken or Egg? they are not separate things.. the egg IS the chicken! It just changes shape. Exactly the same as if you ask 'what comes first, the child or the adult?. In a liniea-time sense, the child comes first 'per instance'. If we are talking evolutionary then neither the chicken nor egg comes first, because they would just merge into a different animal altogether, like a worm. !

2) Zero is the magic number. This is on slightly different lines to what you've been discussing... but I think it's important

I was thinking to myself about the AMOUNT of time in a 'moment'...
We notice "time" passing by. We devide it up into Days, Minutes, Seconds, Milliseconds... etc... We live in a single moment trapped in between past and future. So how "long" is this 'moment' of time??

What i realised was that whatever value you gave it, it automatically becomes the wrong value. Why? Because you can always half the value. There is always a smaller amount.

That leads to only one logical conclusion - the value for a single moment of time, is ZERO!

To me, i feel that idea is a groundbreaking one... because if every moment is of zero length, then it means that we are still in the VERY SAME MOMENT as we have always been in!!! (a billion zeros is still zero) Not only that, but this also works for space too (ie what is the smallest amount of distance?) the answer is also Zero - meaning there is NO SPACE!

No time - No space - Well, i think that's pretty profound

In my dreams there is no space - it's all in my mind, yet it FEELS like space. i believe that is exactly the same as how things are here in this 'reality'.

If we exist in the same moment and same space as all else, then it means we are connected to these other things... it means the big bang is happening NOW, and maybe, just maybe, with ever choice we make, we are 're-arranging' the atoms of that big bang to create a different outcome. Maybe we have the power to mould the world in any way we choose ?? (but first we've got to be realise this power)

Oh I am starting to ramble now! So I'll leave you with those thoughts.
Cheers
DALE

It could perhaps mean that we all originate from the same place, or that we all have that nothingness, another word for potential, within us. I have read and experienced myself the "nothing" that is there when we take away all that we take for granted. To me, that has always symbolized where the "True Self" is capable of existing, the "zero" that we must pass through to cleanse ourself from our programming and may begin building our own, more honest, self. This is what I have come to understand what religions mean when they comment on being born in spirit, symbolized by a ritualized "death", baptism by water or fire (though water seems to be a cleansing and fire the attainment of "Self", the set up and then the knock down) , or "born again".

In any case, at the core we are all alike, or have the same core capabilities.
