so... what can we do now ?

I think about this often as well--not in the sense of wanting "to be useful," or in the sense of assuming a white knightish posture, but I think about it in terms of risking to grow.

Once one wakes up to the arbitrariness of the world (instead of seeing it as unchangeabe and "just the way it is"), accepts the flow of intuition and ignites a creative will, I've found there are opportunities upon opportunities to transmit the right information, or maybe just love, all around me.

The difficulty for me has entered with HOW to clothe your intuitions and insights and compassion that bubbles up from you because you've broken through the mentality that true change is impossible, and have awakened the (conscious) ability to apply intention to "calm the seas" of thought and emotion. 

So many people are caught in their vocabularies, and can't seem to accept the essence of information coming their way.  And to boot, most people seem to be unused to relating to each other in what I'd call a "horizontal" way. 

To me, "Horizontal" means, well, on-the-same-level, outside of judgment, not the same, but equal--honoring the divine spark in who or what you address. 

Conversly, "Vertical" denotes a mode of consciousnes that is categorical, that rates everything in terms of the duality of "good" and "evil," and fosters roles. 

So what does this have to do with anything?

This is what I'm doing...

For about five years or so now I've been risking with various people, sharing with them my view that there are two modes of consciousness (Vertical=judgmental; Horizontal=nonjudgmental) and have asked those people if they want to try to consciously participate in a horizontal relationship with me.

It's been rough-going...But it has created true friends.

Most of the people (I guess there have been about ten), just think I'm eccentric, and agree to try to develop that kind of awareness between us just out of interest for where it will go.  But it's led to wonderful acceleration in my friendships.

I recently proposed this "experiment" to a long-time friend, and it's amazing how much more we've gotten to know each other since we began to actively acknowledge each other as ever-changing beings.

If you stop to think you might be surprised at how often people (your own friends) or you yourself unconsciously reinforce unwanted patterns.  Most don't do it out of malice, or even consciousness, but do it because--for whatever reason--we've been conditioned to relate to people through labeling.  "He's a type-A...Well, of course, she would say that, she's an Aries!...Always the cynic..."

Of course it would be extremely difficult to relate to people without some order of labels, but what I'm getting at is: How often do we give a person a chance to be different? Or anything they want?  By relating to people AS IF they are a certain way, whether we're relating verbally or not, we could be setting them up to be that way--unless they're awake to choice and clearly know who they are.

So...This is what I'm doing.  I've been inviting friends, and sometimes strangers, to explore a relationship with as few as labels as possible.  To relate with the acknowledgment that we've verbs, not nouns.

It's changed my life...

Well........for starters, try to live the knowledge we've gained.  It's one thing to read it, talk it, think it, but it's another thing entirely to actually start doing it.  That can be the hardest thing of all! 

For me, I'm brainstorming on getting my own business going, which I've mentioned here.  I've expanded and revised my plan, so it's slightly different from what I originally intended.  I'm still excited about it, and it still feels right.    All this talk about the downs of working in a mainstream soul sucking job, and finally I figured out what I can do to get around it.  Yay!     So that's a step in the right direction.  I highly recommend this for anybody....see if there's any talents you possess which you can earn a living with.....or at least which you can supplement your income with so you can cut back on your hours at the soul sucking mainstream job.     And think big and broad.............brainstorm everything and anything, don't limit yourself.  You might be surprised what you come up with!   It took me a bit of time to see what was staring me right in the face for years now.     

Let's see, what else.........Lot of people seem to want to share what they know once they've gotten to a certain point.  I've seen many mentions here and there of people wanting to write books, start websites and blogs, etc.    So that could be a good thing too.

I think anything that brings out creative energy that can be appreciated individually works. I'm a DJ that spins house, breaks, and trance that was being played in the SF bay area about 10 years ago. Back then I would just dance to the music, but now I'm learning how to appreciate how it's created, and how an artist can place their own energy into their work. Very cool stuff.

I'm also writing a book, but I've completely given up on non-fiction. No way would most people be able to hear what I have to say without a few "reality-softening" degrees of seperation. I'm trying to crouch a lot of lessons that I've learned into stories that directly relate to how energy works, and it's easier to do it if your readers are able to appreciate the work instead of having to rationally challenge what they're reading in every chapter.

The most important thing I've learned is that sometimes the path finds you. The beauty of it for me is that the game has already been played and we won. Everyone will eventually reach that point, because what is time to someone who has all of it?

this tangible world needs tangible help, does that make sense?

we have all these tons of information, all of this awareness, all of this knowledge, experience, talent, and motivation.

so... what can we do to help?

this is the question i find myself asking (myself) all the time.

well, one of the ideas that always crosses my mind is writing some kind of book that will gather some attention amongst the masses and help better their lives (the world)

the book is envisioned as something simple, an easy-to-read narration that speaks as if its speaking to you, in a conversation. and the "plot" is really just to give advice on how to make the best of out this existence, knowing all that we know etc. ("creating your own reality, realizing your powers, that kind of stuff, deprogramming etc)

am i alone in this feeling ?

anyone else brainstewing over ways to help ?
