Cool, glad we all got this straightened out As for writing style, that's always a tough call because conciseness saves time but increases obscurity, spelling things out makes for way longer articles, and keeping it both short and easy to read sacrifices content. How nice it would be if we communicated telepathically, haha.

For what its worth, it was this article that led me to Montalk's site - and then Noble Realms.

I was wondering whether to buy God's Gladiators after having seen the blurb from Stuart Wilde's website, but as it was over Christmas was reluctant to spend (more) money on something that may not take me further in my 'Search'. After reading Tom's article I did purchase the e-book. (I usually like to pick up a hard copy and flick through it first - get a feel for it, which is how I've always bought books before).

What impressed me about the article was Tom's carefully worded phrases showing (me) how much he valued imparting his truth as succinctly and accurately as possible.

All the best,
Aannsha

Sounds like "Who's on first," in a good way. I joined this site to raise my awareness of the goings on in life, to expand my mind, if you will. While somewhat intellectually challenged to understand at times, I understand that I'm not meant to be where most of you are yet, and maybe I will never get there (wherever there is). Perhaps you won't be where I am. And thats good. I found the same when reading the Bible. I might read the same passage 100 times and then (be let to) understand what was being said on the 101st . I believe that we are given knowledge when we are at a point where we can understand because of having experienced "something". God's Gladiators really rang true to me. I was watching a PBS documentary on the Pope and his years under Nazi, and then Russian occupation. There were members of the resistance who actually physically fought, and there were those who started undergound schools, and those who taught the history and culture of Poland. There were also those who did nothing. We each have experiences and gifts and talents if we choose to see them, and more importantly, use them. I am one who will shoot first and ask questions later....some will ask too many questions, and be shot themselves. I think of myself as no lesser or greater than anyone else. The key is to use our talents as members of the same force, for good so to speak. You can talk to someone who won't listen to me, and I to someone who won't listen to you. You can also hear someone I can't understand and provide a translation...or vice versa. We have all been through separate moments that brought us to this place for a reason.
When I used to go to church, there were those that were always saying that they "Loved the Lord", and I felt somehow inferior, that I was missing something until I read John 21:15-17. The basic story is that Jesus asks Peter 3 times if he loves him, to which Peter responds "of course I love you Lord. In the "real" translation, that is not what happened at all. When Jesus asks Peter the first 2 times "do you love me? Peter's actual response was "of course I like you a lot". On the third time, Jesus asks, "Peter, do you like me a lot" to which Peter responds "of course I like you a lot. The moral of the story: Jesus met Peter where he was in his ability to love....but was not going to leave him there. And then He said: Follow Me. Thats when I understood that it was OK if I was not at the point of love and understanding that many profess. I am simply me and I have something to offer, as do you.

Marcus wrote:

I am not really sure what you are saying here. It is more than likely just me being unable to interprit this correctly, but I have read the paragraph a number of times - and still been unable to come up with any clear meaning.

Hey it made sense to me What I meant is that no source is perfect and that discernment should always be used by the reader. But depending on the intent of the writer, there can unavoidable imperfections and intentional imperfections. There are some who always aim to improve their material and correct errors and inaccuracies, and some who seek to disinform and incorporate increasingly slick and clever logical twists and fallacies in order to deceive. So both of these are imperfect and always to some degree inaccurate, but whereas the first type seek to communicate ideas clearly and accurately, the second type seeks to hide the truth cunningly. Because the second type employs clever tricks, you have a far higher chance of getting led astray by swallowing disinformation than accepting misinformation.

Racsouran wrote:

Putting faith that Montalk or his site is a good informational site is only an error. All of this can only serve to contrast information. This site has well amount of information to take contrast, but, like all, an ocean of fog where u can believe or not, but evidences, lack.

That's correct, I have purposely avoided turning my site into a spoonfeeding nursery and demand no faith from readers. In the past people have erroneously made me out to be a "teacher" and then knocked me down for not fulfilling their expectations. Haha, if anything I am a "pointer" -- I say "See that idea over there that I'm pointing to? Why don't you go there and have a look. See those books? Give them a read and you may find some great insights. See that paradox? Well if you look at it from this angle here, it disappears."

The point of my articles is to connect, clarify, and reveal to readers what they have already experienced and observed for themselves, or will experience and observe for themselves. The goal is to have a lightbulb turning on in their minds, a type of "Aha! Yes, that explains what I've always wondered about and suspected! This makes sense!" -- to provide ideas that open their perception, reveal hidden connections, and resolve paradoxes. All I ask is that people take what makes sense and leave what does not.

My motto is "Something's right til proven wrong, or something better comes along" meaning that it's better to go with a working hypothesis and modify as needed, than to either accept something blindly and defend it rigidly or else be so skeptical and agnostic as to never commit yourself to any hypothesis and thus suffer the weakness of indecisiveness. In other words, be stubborn to lies and fickle to truth.

Some websites and materials focus heavily on trivia, history, facts and statistics, authoritative documents, credentials, and so on -- these are useful and have their place as reference sources. But once you have the pieces, how to put them together? There you need inspiration, insight -- and reading inspirational and insightful material helps make connections, see?

The best analogy I can think of would be books about foreign countries versus guidebooks for travelers to foreign countries. The first you can read sitting at home, and it gives you surface knowledge about what it's like to live there. The second only tells you some interesting places to visit, some short history, maybe some maps to use -- and then it's up to YOU to go there and discover it for yourself. I intend my site to be a guidebook...nothing authoritative, nothing that substitutes for personal discovery and experience, but something that offers assistance where it can be used.

Of course my site contains misinformation, but never do I intend to disinform and I'm always looking for errors to fix and holes to fill and shortcomings to transcend. I'm just a fellow truthseeker like everyone else at Noble Realms. That's one reason I prefer referring people to other websites and books that I value and respect, and especially why I have put a lot of time into the NR files area so that people can read what I have read and make up their own minds.

Others sources make statements based on purposely false information, and this creates disinformation, which doesn't make them faulty but instead perfectly designed to do what they are intended to do, which is to subvert the awareness of the recipient.
