Then there's that whole thing about the Tibetan monks and the Vril society which really makes a person wonder about  Tibetan Buddhism.   

Anyway, I've always wanted to read that book by the valet.

Which reminds me, have you ever seen the USA 57 cent stamp? It's worth going to the post office to buy one if you haven't.

Although the feedback loop of "power corrupts" surely was a factor in the Fuehrer's megalomania, it seems Hitler's amphetamine habit might have excerbated this process:

"He engaged in all-night monologues with an endless repetition of stories, along with increasingly disorganized thinking and confused syntax. The latter would not be expected of someone considered to have been a supreme orator. His mood swings became more volatile, paranoia increased (a common side effect of amphetamine addiction) and, while early on he accepted blame for tactical errors, he developed a tendency to project blame onto others."
