Hmm, I work in the film biz and it's hard for me to buy into all of these dark musings about bad guys pulling the strings. I've never seen that level of coherence.

Well I'm not sure what you do in the biz, but here are some different things to keep in mind:

- Who gives the green light for which scripts are being filmed?  Who's deciding which "type" of movies are being made at any given time period?    I'm not even in the biz and I can tell you that during certain time periods, certain types of movies are being made -- certain trends happen. Who's behind these trends?

- Who are the screenplay writers themselves?   Where are they getting their ideas?   I mean, who are these people?   Would you truly know?    Does anybody?   And don't tell me about the one or two screenplay writers you may have known....there are hundreds out there.  We can't know who they all are, or what their story is and where they're getting their ideas from.

-  Who are the directors?   Do you know who / what they truly are?  What secret organizations do they belong to in their personal lives?   Would you or any of us know that?   Probably not.     Why do some attain a level of power that others do not?  Many of the power players belong to "stuff", I can bet my life on it, and it's in those groups and meetings where decisions are made about who "gets" to do what, and have what, and be what.    Follow along and you'll make it to the top.   Step out of line, and there goes your career.

- Something else you're not considering but which would be a familiar subject to many here at Noble Realms is the idea of people being "shadowed" by darker demonic forces -- influenced by something from another realm to do the things that they do.   This is true in the "real" world too, not just Hollyweird.    So while there probably isn't any formal, organized conspiracy and agenda going on in Hollyweird like you say, there most certainly is organized influence.    So the idea of people in the industry being shadowed by something dark to create and make and distribute the dark material that we are force fed is not far fetched.   It's a fact of life, and it goes on every day even with regular folks.   And this is what I mean when I keep telling people to "Consider the source!" of where their movies are coming from.   Consider who / what was behind these movies, both on a 3rd density level, and a higher, darker level as well.

Most people will never get an inkling into what goes on in Hollywood behind the scenes.  The fact that there are mind controlled puppets in the industry, the fact that many actresses....actors.....have to sleep their way to get to where they are.    Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" barely skimmed the surface of what's going on within society's elite.   It wasn't a movie about Hollywood per se, just society's elite...of which included models and other entertainment types.   Kubrick was old, sure, but it is awfully coincidental that he died before the movie could even be released, and that when it finally was released, it had been tweaked from his original vision to tone down what he wanted to reveal.

Most people don't have a clue either about hyperdimensional aspect of our reality, and so that whole area is totally lost on them.  I'm seeing that in your posts - it's possible you're completely unaware of it, or just don't believe in it, I'm not sure.   But it's a major MAJOR factor to consider when trying to understand the Hollywood Machine.

There's so much to consider when it comes to Hollywood and who's making the movies we watch.   Who has the money and power.........and why.     Who's making the decisions.    Just because one is "in the biz" doesn't make them automatically privvy to what's going on in the boardrooms.  Doesn't make them privvy to the personal lives of the power players, and whatever secret societies they may belong to, whatever they may have had to do in their careers to get where they are.   (on a side note, anybody else ever notice that the 6 foot+ tall Tarantino bears a striking resemblence to what a lizzie in human form might look like?      I say that sorta tongue in cheek, but kinda not really -  I mean, I've stared at that guy's photo in wonder.  the brow bone, the mouth, the height / body...the personality and the types of movies he makes.....it all fits, and it does make me seriously wonder.)      I'm suspicious of ALL Hollywood players, I don't care how nice they may seem to be.   There are things we're not seeing nor will we ever be privvy to behind the scenes.

This is so true.   I look back at myself 10 years ago and it's amazing to me what kind of movies I watched without even a second thought, unfazed, like it was nothing.  Desensitzed is absolutely the word for it, and that's exactly what TPTB are aiming for.   Being away from TV for so long has really, REALLY made a huge difference with me.   I saw the effects of desensitzation the most during 9/11.   I was wreck, while everybody around me was so nonchalant............even JOKING about it.   They were able to watch the bodies tumbling through the air from the WTC so nonchalantly.   I had to leave the room.   That's when it really hit me how desensitized so many people have become.   It didn't mean anything to them, it was just another image of death and violence, no different from the thousands and thousands of images they are cumulatively subjected to over the years. 

People don't understand this.  They will argue for horror movies, shrug their shoulders at movies riddled with gratuitious violence.   The gorier and more graphic, the better.   I went over to IMDB.com and looked up the reviews for "Sin City" to see what people had to say about it.    Over and over again people are reveling in the level of violence featured in the movie, giddy with excitement about it.  I got an image in my head of people rubbing their hands together in manic glee.   Very weird indeed.

??  Are you serious?

The Matrix.  eXistenZ.  Dark City.  The Forgotten.  The Thirteenth Floor.   Labyrinth.   V.   The Manchurian Candidate.  The Chronicles of Riddick.   THX1138.   Equilibrium.   etc.  (going through a list of some of the movies that have been discussed on this forum over in the "movies" thread, http://noblerealms.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=24  and others which pertain to the issues discussed on this forum, and which were commercial successes reaching a mass audience....and not one of them could be considered a horror movie.  Most of them are under the category of Sci Fi or Drama.)   So, the horror genre is absolutely not the "only" genre where one is likely to see these issues covered.  My opinion is that horror movies serve no purpose whatsoever.  But that's just my opinion, only because I can't find one redeaming quality in horror movies.   And there are far better ways in which a person can "move past the things that scare them."    Real life is nothing like a horror movie.    Even when it comes to the supernatural and paranormal, it still doesn't go anything like the way Hollyweird portrays it, which is something I've talked about before on other threads.   In the end, people are free to make up their own minds and go watch horror movies.   I'm just here to remind people to "consider the source."  But anyway, I digress.

In response to the earlier post, I think horror movies do much more than lower a person's vibration. Good horror films allow a person to move past the things that scare them. The horror genre is also the only genre where you're likely to see any of the issues discussed in this forum brought to a mass audience. Catholicism, where a horribly violent image is used as a  tool of ongoing mind control, is a far more insidious use of grotesqueimagery than any popular entertainment I can think of.

I tell you what, I just watched  "Saw" ..........These movies are getttin way outta hand and Im Generation X...and a little bit of Y...

"Saw".....ugh.   Yeah.   I saw the trailer for this one and it was enough.   VERY VERY disturbing.  And that was just the trailer.   

You know, all I can do is just put out my two cents for people to consider, but people.........please........ consider the source of these movies, and consider the purpose!   What purpose do movies like "Saw" serve?   To disturb and scare the crap out of you and to lower your frequency.   Nothing more.   There's a trend over the past 10 years towards increasingly darker, more violent and horrific movies.   Hollyweird is run by a bunch of Illuminati puppet Satanists, so consider the source the next time you find yourself tempted to run right out and lap up the latest violent kill / rape / gore fest.

Sounds like a strange movie though.  Even though I haven't seen it, I think it's safe to say that of course there's programming going on with it.   All movies have that aspect to them.   The playground of the TPTB is the entertainment industry - movies, TV, video games, the internet, etc.   No stone goes unturned with them in that area.
