I'm very much interested in these cities too. Why all 5 cities in top important league? Why 2012 olympics? Why not e.g. Manchester in UK, Seattle in US, Marseilles in France?

It will be very interesting to see which city will take this olympics. And most of all, it will be very interesting to see if this olympics ever can be done or not!

I'm leaning very much toward the belief that absolutely nothing happens by coincidence. Especially where TPTB are concerned.

The potential host cities are what I'd call 5 of the world's "landmark" cities, all large enough that in the event of a staged terrorist attack/alien invasion/natural disaster much turmoil would ensue. Could it be possible that these 5 major cities have been chosen for a reason? Or am I a crackpot swimming in apophia?
