I think it's normal if strong emotions come up, it's even a good sign I sometimes had terrible nightmares which replayed the whole situation I had recapped just before going to sleep, but this means that the emotions were being released. I don't think you can go wrong with recapitulation, but if you feel that there is too many emotions coming out, more than you can bear, then do a short break or recapp situations with fewer emotions attached (everything is worth recapping), and start again with the more important situations when you feel that your unconscious is done with the processing.

Okay. I have had some time to play with this and have gotten some interesting results. A sense of myself outside of time yet looking into time. Physical reality seems more maliable. A more definite sense of why I am here and more senstive to subtle vibrations from others. A time or two for a second nothing was solid. And certainly more emotonal balance, but alot of anger has come up. Can anyone share some of their own experience with particularly strong emotions, especially if something comes up when dealing with a customer at the store you work at? And thank you for the references.

Thook: In the King James Version, Mark 14:27-30 and 66-72. Also, see Matthew 26:69-75. There's a whole slew of translations and reference works out there, if you need to look something up!

Thanks to you both. Sorry for the abscence if you were wondering. My sister was visiting from Memphis. I'm reading the shaman site and I'm excited. I've been a bit discouraged until after I read this site. I will definitely post more as I play with the techniques and the seemingly redundant crap that has been bugging me. Lastly, where in the Bible can I read about this story of Peter. This statement has some significance in my life.

You mean the 50 ways to leave your lover? The song kind of speaks for itself, doesn't it?

On a more serious note, recapitulating sexual relationships/events helps free up energies you may have invested in these "lovers" and helps both you and the partner "move on" so to speak. It helps you both, even if the other person resists this at first. If you don't actually dissolve the lines of energy, they may react in a way that is much more painful for you and a waste of your energy. If you do your part, then they are unable to maintain the connection, just as would be the same if they "wanted out" and did the same on their own.

As far as dropping off the key and hopping on the bus, this may or may not work and they may still follow you around energetically, Gus.

Good thread started here. "Thou shalt deny me three times before the rooster crows," is how I'm familiar with the quote you mentioned. It's from the New Testament of the Bible. Jesus was talking to Peter, and telling him that he would deny knowing Jesus to interrogators looking to do him(Jesus) in. Peter said he would never do this, but it turned out he did exactly as Jesus said he would. Neverlethess he was dubbed by Jesus as "Petros" or " The Rock " ( this was in pre-WWWF Smackdown days!) and said "upon you my church will be built."

Recapitulation is described in the Casteneda books as a necessary concomitant to the sorcerer's path. I've found it necessary, and there are a variety of ways of doing it to suit various individuals.

Just scroll down until you see it, 3rd or 4th article, maybe? Good one. Made me water at the mouth. I will ceratainly have comments and questions regarding this subject, and yours and anyone else's experiences once I have looked at your link and done more of this myself. I tried this exercise every day for 1-2 months with really interesting results, have stopped in the past few weeks because I'm trying out other techniques but overall I really recommend it.

I was reading Tom's article on recap on Montalk site and would appreciate some feed back from Tom or anyone with helpful comments. First of all, before I go any further, has anyone heard the expression " Deny me three times and the rooster crows."? I am almost afraid to ask this question.
