Had two strange "dreams" that involved people in white coats at a young age, between 3 - 5.    And not to be gross, and turn in a serious direction, but at about the age of 5 I awoke one morning with dried amber colored stuff on me "down there."  Mystified I removed it and told my mom about it.  It never happened again, and boy did my mom frown at me and give me the weirdest looks when I tried to tell her.   I mean, she knew I wasn't lying, because what kind of a kid would come up with that anyway.  But at the same time.....who's ever heard of such a thing??    Years later I would be told that it was most likely dried iodine.    You figure out the rest.

Developed an interest in aliens at the age of 9, in 4th grade.   My mom would regularly take me to the public library and I would beeline for the grown ups section and hunt out all the books on aliens, UFO's and abductions.   This isn't normal!      Also any books on the pyramids, Atlantis, ESP, ghosts and the paranormal.    The irony of this is......my mom was so busy censoring which Judy Blume books I was allowed to read that she completely missed me reading "Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind" which involved alien sexual abductions, sperm and eggs being taken, hybrids being created, abductees getting smeared with weird jelly and forced to mate with each other and other aliens.    !!  Yeah mom, that's right, you hide that Judy Blume book which mentions "masturbation" and "erection", meanwhile, I'm in my room glued to this book about aliens creating hybrid babies.    !  I knew a lot about the alien phenomenon by the age of 10, 11.   Made my way through every single book the library had on the subject, then read them for a second, third and fourth time.    This isn't normal!    

As a kid I'd already concluded that "humans are one giant genetic experiment by the aliens gone wrong."    This isn't normal either!   

At around 10 there was an instance one early summer evening in CT - the sun hadn't even fully gone down yet - where I was in bed early, probably because I was grounded or something, and something (invisible) was in my room, walking around casually picking stuff up on my dresser and desk and putting them back down again.   I had my back to the room, facing the wall, completely frozen in fear.  I heard it pick up my glasses and put them back down, move over to my desk and pick up the little metal container with push pins, which rattled, then put it back down.  Just curiously poking around.  We didn't have any ghosts in that place, so I'm at a loss for what the hell was going on with that whole deal.  At 14 something slid open the attic entry way in my closet, fell down onto the ramp which led up to that doorway, tumbled down and landed with a thud against my closet door.   I laid there in the dark, scared s******.   But nothing else happened, that I remember anyway.   A fearful check in the morning revealed nothing out of the ordinary.

At this same time, age 14, I became absolutely OBSESSED with the imagery of spiral stairs, DNA helixes and elevators.    And I do mean obsessed.    I'd lie in bed mentally envisioning spiral stairs, I'd doodle DNA looking helixes all over my notebooks at school, I'd go out of my way in public to seek out elevators and ride around in them, I'd dream about elevators and spiral stairs.  This is CLASSIC mind control symbolism / conditioning.   I had no idea though at the time.   

It didn't hurt that I had parents who were active believers in this stuff, and regularly talked about it.  We'd sit around at dinner sometimes discussing the pyramids, and aliens, and UFO's, you name it.  They both were WAY into believing in and talking about reincarnation, ghosts and the paranormal, and ESP / psychic stuff.  Both had very psychic family members, and both had experienced paranormal stuff.    So, they certainly helped inadvertantly push me in that direction, no doubt about it, and they didn't bat an eye when I gravitated to those books, like it was the most normal thing in the world for a 4th grader to read.   At 15 and 16 I was giving reports about aliens and the UFO phenomenon in school, both in CT and CA, and by then my psychic abilities were in full swing. 

I don't know, but I'm thinking all of this might point to something unusual happening to me?....??   

Another strange thing I remember, are bellowing voices that shouted short commands or furious curses in a language I couldn’t understand. They frightened me a lot because they were very loud. Although they were just “in my head"  I perceived them as induced by an outside influence. They often appeared when I lay in bed at night shortly before falling asleep.

You've just reminded me that my son had trouble with what he called a voice saying a nasty thing in his head over and over and over and he couldn't get it out of his mind.  I told him to tell it to sod off and not come back - and then to call on Jesus to help.  And to focus on something nice or funny like a pink elephant.  (Break the cycle).   Yesterday (synchronicity or what ) he told me that that nasty voice hasn't been back for a while.

I heard a voice calling my name as I was lying in bed at night.  The voice seemed familiar even though I did not really recognize it from my waking life.  At the time my little mind decided it was an angel. 
Has anyone else had this type of experience as children?

When I was a child I spent most of my bedtime waiting in terror for my parents to come upstairs to bed.  I was convinced something would get me either from the wardrobe or under the bed.  I was so scared I would hide under the covers.  But then I would be too hot to sleep and would have to open a small crack near my nose to breathe.  I can't remember seeing anything though.  Don't know if it was just imagination after seeing Dr Who. 

One night, a week after my dad died when I was ten, I heard a kind female voice calling my name over and over in my right ear.  It terrified me though and I screamed until mum came.  I made a conscious effort never to hear it again.  Now I'm exploring different dimensions I wish I hadn't shut off that outward hearing - although sometimes in the middle of the night, I still get scared.

My little 6-year old boy though went through a few weeks of being scared of going to bed.  He said he dreamed of a ghost of a little girl who had been killed by a shopkeeper kept appearing and she floated in front of him and had a greenish glow.  That seemed a bit realistic to be just imagination. But I tried the down to earth approach that my dad had done with me (that didn't work on me either) but I didn't want to put into his mind any more fear that maybe some spirits do hang around after 'death'.  I said, "don't worry, if you can't see it in the day, its not there at night". That didn't work.

Then I said it could be fears from the daytime that he couldn't process - and that his mind was turning into something scary in his dreams - and suggested he imagine Superman come to rescue him in his dreams. That didn't work either.

So in the end (risking scaring him with thoughts that ghosts are real) I said, call on Jesus.  (He's got a little picture of him stuck by his bed - he seems to like Jesus .) I said, if it is real, then Jesus will take them to heaven.  And he'll protect you too.  That night, the ghost came, and so did Jesus.  And my boy slept well.

Addition: The other night my boy gave us a scare - he screamed and screamed in his sleep.  When we rushed in to him, he was semi-asleep but fighting something off.  It took a while to calm him but he didn't know what had happened when he awoke (probably not fully awake).  The next morning he remembered nothing.

I don't know if it was real, imagined or what Freeme. In the end, I reckon its all a construct of our mind one way or another.  We just have to find something that works for us in the now.  And that will change as our mindset changes. But then we also interact with beings here and in other dimensions that are also creating with their minds.  Funny that it was a girl that my boy saw though.

  I had an incident in the middle of the night where a little girl "ghost" came to play with me.

This is odd.  I've seen a little girl, too, but never when I was a child.  The first time I'm not sure if it's a real memory or not.  But, not too long ago, I had the sensation of being lifted in bed.  When I looked (I was on my stomach), I got the impression that it was a little girl levitating me with her hands placed above me, in the area of my back.  That same night, I heard someone urinating in the bathroom!  My thought was "How vulgar." [EDIT: just remembered that "vulgar", not "repulsive" was the right phrase; forgive me, I'm very big on getting it right] (I don't think it was the same entity.  I had the impression that the girl was a good being, since I was delving into things spiritually and sometimes under what would seem spiritual attack)  I was in a half-dream state, so it's all muddled and maybe not what actually happened, even in the spiritual sense.  Still, I'm pretty convinced of the girl.  My girlfriend was catching glimpses of a dark-haired little girl at the same time (not exact same time) out of the corner of her eye, in her own house.  High strangeness!

Has anyone else had this type of experience as children?  Did a lot of us 'fall out of bed'? Just wondering...

You know.........I wouldn't have even remembered it until you posted this, but yes, I think I did used to fall out of bed as a kid!       Not "a lot"...but I vaguely recall this happening from time to time.   Not sure why.  And the memory isn't even fully clear, more like a foggy, distant memory triggered by reading your words.  So yeah, I think I was a bed faller.   I didn't get hurt.  It wasn't anything dramatic.  And I think it happened more when I was really young.   I don't know...maybe that's what kids do?  They fall out of bed? 

Look to other things that you remember as a kid.   Ever see anything strange in your room with you?   I had an incident in the middle of the night where a little girl "ghost" came to play with me.   She even had a ghost ball that floated in slo mo through the air.    She looked much like I did at the time, with pigtails on the sides of her head, little shorts and a tee shirt.   She was smiling, although in retrospect it was a little sinister.   I reached up in bed and "caught" the ball that she threw my way, even though I couldn't feel it, which I marveled at.  Anyway, we tossed the ball back and forth a couple of times, until I missed it and it went over my head and disappeared silently behind me, between the headboard and the wall.  That's when the "ghost" changed and got VERY angry, and came charging at me viciously.   I was like "AH!!" and ducked under the covers.  When I emerged a little while later she / it was gone.   Another time "Burger King" came floating into my room, a grinning spector in white with a crown and a robe.  I tried telling my mom about it the next morning, "Burger King was in my room last night!!"  but she wasn't listening.      

The big ones to look for more than anything else I think are:   Waking up outside of the covers upside down in the bed - feet at your pillow, head at the end of your bed, face up, arms at your sides, like you were "put back", but they got the coordinates wrong.     And then nosebleeds.   Frequent and heavy nosebleeds is another possible indicator.  I had both of those more than I did the bed falling......

it was a little boy paralyzed in his room, crying out for his parents. then it showed me i guess what the boy was seeing, which was some nasty looking insectoid alien being, fuggin bugg eyed mofo. it looked wierd.

so it would switch between showing the boy paralyzed and that wierd insect being.

dunno if that was supposed to be me (the boy) in the dream...

I also used to 'fall out of bed' a lot at night.  I never thought that that might be significant before.  It used to wake my parents, but I never had any memory of it in the morning.  It's more likely that I just fell out of bed frequently, of course, but I am starting to wonder if it could have been the tail end of an abduction or an attempted abduction.  Has anyone else had this type of experience as children?  Did a lot of us 'fall out of bed'? Just wondering...
