An acquaintance of mine used to be in the Nikken business. A more experienced 'colleague' of his demonstrated some of the products at my place. One of those products was a small device consisting of 2 or more(my memory is not accurate about this) metal balls that could rotate around a center, and you had to give the balls a push in order to make them rotate around the center. This would magnetically 'charge' them.
Another product was the magnetic shoe soles. The colleague demonstrated these to me. The guy asked me to stand with my feet on the magnetic soles(without shoes) firmly on the ground, legs slightly spread. He asked me to stretch my arm in a straight 90 degrees angle in forward direction. Then he explained that he would try to push my arm in the direction of the floor, and that I had to resist it. So I did.
After that, he told me to repeat the same thing, but without the soles. I had more trouble resisting his push. He explained that it was because of the shoe soles that had 'grounded' me during the first time. I told him that after his first push my arm mustles were just tired and therefore I had more trouble resisting his push the second time.
But he disagreed and claimed it was because of the magnetic soles. Quickly after this demonstration he became aware of the fact that we weren't potential buyers, so he left again quickly.
This is my only experience with Nikken products. I am always paranoid about salesmen, so perhaps I wasn't 'open' for it. Perhaps these products do work, I honestly don't know. I think the only way to find out is buying them. But not for me, it's way to expensive and besides, i feel healthy so why would i buy that stuff?

Hi all,

I'm doing researches on Nikken. It's a company which use a multi-level marketing (MLM) to sell its "wellness products" (mostly magnets but also products based on far infrared technology which, according to one source, was developped by the NASA) .

Apart from the products sold, the philosophy of Nikken is based on the "5 pillars": a healthy body, a healthy mind, a healthy family, a healthy society and a healthy economy (notice how this gives justification for the agressive MLM). For me this is a typical example of a reversed spirituality which seeks to "improve" the material world rather than use it to transcend the illusion in which our souls are stuck.

This is very suspicious in itself and would not make me want to touch these products in any way, however I'm looking for more concrete informations about the effect of these magnets so I can inform some people who are bound to be skeptical since they are selling them. I'm more worried of negative effects than no effects. Even if they give healing, what is taken in exchange?

Some information/intuition I have so far:

(1) The Nikken marketing claims that modern civilization is weakening our electromagnetic protections/field and that the magnets make it stronger. I was thinking that if the electromagnetic field around the Earth is lowering, maybe it's a sign that the Matrix is going down and that we finally have access to more cosmic informations. Thus such magnets, with the effect of "as above, so below", could serve to strengten the Matrix. Any thoughts?

(2) Another odd thing is that some of the magnets (not all, I think) must be reloaded with electricity. Electricity is a prime tool of the Matrix and just the idea of keeping on me such devices makes me shiver.

(3) Also, on this page it says that Nikken in Dutch means "The Devil". Coincidence?

(4) Nikken was sued by SGI for spreading lies about Buddhism. I'm not too sure I understand this case. SGI gives an explaination here which seems good but the true reason could be different.

I'll post more information as I find them. Anyway if some of you here have prime information on Nikken and/or magneto-therapy, please let me know as this is rather important.
