Hi amazination,

thanks for your reply. I also see no problem in desire itself. I don't deny it or try to fight it. I just perceive it as an expression of an STS-state-of-being. The only important thing (for me) is to see things as they are. All (what an assumption ) of us here at NR are STS-beings. It is a "natural" state of today's mankind. Maybe there is no possibility at all to become really STO in this realm. I know that I am also STS - one is not able to change that state of being by will - your being does change/progress naturally or does not. Even the desire to become STO is an expression of STS. Maybe I'm quite strict with my definitions, but they have proved (for me) to be working.
It's better to know you are evil than to believe you are good - sorry for that simplistic terms. And also I regard it as better to know a source is STS than believing it's STO. That doesn't mean I thrash anything that source states. There may be good food for the brain inside of it, but with doubts about the intent of the source it's better to read with discernment. ..OK, discernment is helpful everytime

amazination wrote:

I guess I've just got a different view on things. I probably would have echoed your sentiments some years ago myself, so please don't take my comments as antagonistic.

That sounds really interesting. I'd like to know what your thoughts/concepts about the whole STS/STO/good/evil - thing are. How did they progress from the point of awareness some yours ago to now? What changed your conclusions?

Regards

Heandras

Hi heandres,

You wrote... It seems quite absurd to me, that God/Prime Creator/All-That-Exists -name it as you want- hopes and desires anything. It is still absurd if I suppose that source to be an lower STO being. The reason: an STO-being gives only when asked and would never hope to establish any contact or wish to be hosted by a human being. Hopes and desires are pure expressions of a STS-mindset. So that little excerpt speaks for itself in my opinion.

With all due respect, I disagree. I see no problem with desire in itself. The manifest world may well be born out of desire. At the very least, both you and I were, unless you were concieved in a sterile genetic lab run by minds cool and distant from the fire of life.

The problem in my mind is not so much with desire, but with the ugly twist that the DENIAL of desire produces.

The STO / STS blanket catagorization according to preconcieved judgements of what those states of being represent seems just too simplistic to me. Though I am quite familiar with the concept, for me it's a case of 'sounds right, feels wrong'.

I guess a lot of what I say here will go against the grain of many, and I'm really not one to verbally spar with others anyway. I guess I've just got a different view on things. I probably would have echoed your sentiments some years ago myself, so please don't take my comments as antagonistic.

I certainly don't claim any special knowledge of the nature of God/Source, whatever you choose to call it... but I have seen a lot of my unrecognized judgements and preconceptions fall away in the past few years. Like most here (I hope), I seek the truth no matter what the outcome.

This series of books I mention are certainly full of triggers and are quite controversial.

I don't think their 'language', if you will, can be captured by a brief synopsis, in fact, I don't think one can read one or two of them and 'get it', they are more like an unfolding process into deep archetypal vantage points. I threw out my initial post in hopes someone else here has grokked these books, and we could nudge each other, wink and say "Uh huh!", as self serving as that may be.

Peace?

~Dave

If you see it as your higher/highest self...It should desire after you, it would not be if it didn't help you move higher and higher.. I think they send situations (positive or negative depending on your perception of them) to wake you up to them.

Yes our hopes and desires are expressions of our ego. But when you take on the hopes and desires or a higher beings ego...you in essence become like them.we can really only get those thoughts as we acknowledge them in us.

Just some thoughts.

Hi Dave,

thanks for sharing.

Just throwing this out ... Is anyone here familiar with the series of books channeled by CeAnne DeRohan, The Right Use Of Will?

IMO they are probably the most profound works I've ever read, yet I realize they are not for everyone. When I loaned out a copy of the first book to my sister, she ended up throwing it against a wall in disgust (a fairly typical response I guess) but I have come upon others who resonate with this work and understand what they 'do'.....

Here's a site that touches upon them, and a clipped paragraph from the following link...

http://www.empower.co.il/healingkiss/ed … s/ruow.htm

"If you are interested in deep spiritual healing,
you may be interested
in this phenomenal series of books known as Right Use of Will.
These are a series of six channeled books. (actually, 7 now...amazination)
They are most unusual, as the "entity" in this case is
nothing less than God Hirself [the word is a combination of himself/herself],
speaking directly to the reader.
I have found the information, guidance, love, and understanding
presented in these books
to be invaluable in understanding
the situation and challenge of healing the emotional body here on Earth.

"Some of the most contraversial channeled works,
the Right Use of Will series
works at very deep levels of healing
to trigger memories within our bodies and souls
about what happened in the "heavens"
before we, as humanity, had even taken human form here.
From this triggering,
we are then able to access long-forgotten parts of ourself,
and release the stuck emotion
that holds us back from being our Godselves on the highest levels.

"These aren't for everyone,
as they challenge us to see God
as an evolving, learning, sexual, feeling, personal God.
The author pushes a lot of spiritual "buttons"
that invite the reader to really look
at deeply held judgements and feelings
around their spiritual model of what God is.
These books are useful for those individuals
who have a desire to open up
to what God has to say
about emotional healing,
the Mother of Everything,
Heart,
and the role Lucifer has played in Creation.
Very full indeed.
I would urge anyone involved with Healing
to at least give these books a feel-through.
Go to a bookstore, thumb through it,
and see if it speaks to you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Any RUOW's in this forum????
~Dave (amazination)
