well, i am not up on the newest Perelandra stuff. years ago when i was researching flower essences to work with healing the multitude of challenged animal beings that were coming here i read her stuff. she was new to the scene, so a flurry of interest in the holistic community. the thing that struck me about her was her focus on self and the gathering of followers. just was not what i was looking for in a healing modality. everyone has the same inherent gifts...can't not have them because it is part of the essence construct. the healing modalities i felt more drawn to were the ones where there was not the spiritual god or goddess persona leading others to the "true path". just did not resonate with her energy.

Hi morningsun76, I'm somewhat familiar with the MAP (medical assisted program) material and method - never done it myself but know how it's done and have heard numerous annecdotes of people who have done the sessions. It gives me an uneasy feeling for the following reasons:

- much more ritual-intensive than reiki
- requires giving permission to external entities to work on you
- health benefits are no proof of positive intentions by entities (voluntary soul enslavement is worth more at that level - fixing health problems is nothing....grays do that for people all the time)

Funny, I just read through the reviews at amazon and found someone saying essentially the same thing:

He/She's got a good point - why all the etheric beaurocracy? Reminds me of a metaphysical welfare scheme - you get some help, but the helpers take a big chunk of the benefits for themselves. If one can heal more effectively by tapping into universal energy, perhaps by connecting directly with one's own Higher Self and resolving any karmic issues or learning lessons and imbalances, why involve who knows what?

I just came across this book, and was wondering if anyone on NR was familiar with it or the author. Apparenly she runs the Perelandra Center for Nature Research in Virginia. It strikes me as quite interesting, though I haven't read any further on the subject yet.
