Has anyone else seen this?

In the last three weeks or so I've seen two--for lack of a better term--ufos. Both were in broad daylight. They were both white, not metallic, with a kind of pearly, translucent gleam in the sun.

The first one was outside my window at home, and I was talking on the phone with a friend in another state (so she didn't share the experience except by my narration). It was at a lower altitude in the sky than a plane or helicopter would have been, but high enough to skim the underside of some puffy (fog-like) clouds that were present. It was slowly moving north, occasionally morphing from a cylindrical shape to a sphere. When it moved over my house I followed it outside and watched it glide slowly away over the mountains. Weather balloon, maybe?

The second was a couple of weeks later. I was babysitting, and the little fellow and I were standing looking out his parents' window (one of his favorite things to do--he's only eight months old though, so not sure if he saw it too). This one was higher in the sky than the last, and stood stationary in the northeast (again over the mountains). It was sphere-shaped and did not morph. I must have stood there staring at it for 15-20 minutes, and it never moved. Then I had to do something for baby, and when I came back to the window, probably another 15 minutes later, it was still there, though it had moved south to the other side of the window. It remained there for another 10 minutes or so, until baby demanded my attention again. The next time I checked (20 minutes), it was gone.

And no, of course I didn't have my camera ready for either of these. smile

The last time (the only other time) I saw a ufo was in 1991, also in L.A. That one was at sunset and behaved more like other accounts I've heard--it was moving fast, and then disappeared in on itself in a white cloud when it "sensed" it had been detected.

I'm sure there must be reasonable explanations for both of these. Neither of them made me anxious or afraid; I just found it interesting, though a bit odd that I should see two so close together.

Please share your thoughts and rational opinions. wink

Cheers

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

When I told my some people in my family about my UFO experience I was relieved when they said "youre grandma saw one back in the 70s along with a few hundred other people". That was a relief to hear becaues I hadnt told anyone in my fam about my own experience for the longest time, not because I was afraid they wouldnt believe me but because I just didnt for some reason...My grandmother is the kind of person who would NEVER believe this stuff unless she saw it with her own two eyes, which she did. This UFO was one of those huge rectangular ones, totally silent. Cops even started chasing after the thing and followed it for about 10 miles before POOF gone. It was all over the papers the next day.

WHen I saw those UFOs I wasnt afraid either, like you. Ive seen them a few times but this one time they were pretty close and there was actual communication. I saw one, then I looked away from it in disbelief and said outloud to it " I am not going to believe this is happening unless there are two of you when I look back". I looked back and there were two of them floating next to eachother. It was really weird, and I was just smilling ear to ear because it was so . . whats the word. NUTS! hahaha I couldnt beleive it, but I was humbled by the experience.

I dont know what they are. Its obvious our government has them too, and have had them at least since the 40s or 50s I reckon. But, why would the government show off like that and show me two of them when I asked it to? Could they really hear my voice like that if it was "just the government" messing with me? Also, the circumstances surrounding my sighting of them was interesting, and that I still do not fully understand either. If you want to read the whole thing you can click on my website and read my UFO blog.

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

Also, a close friend of mine told me he saw a tall gray two months ago. When he told me of course I drilled him over and over and I know he is not lying, there is no way he is lying.. I know this man and he wouldnt just lie like that.  I questioned him over and over and over about it. HE wasnt in bed or sleeping, he was actually just walking out to his backyard to have a smoke when he saw it clear as day. When I heard this I was like......no f*cking way. I really drilled him and again, there is no way he is lying. No light tricks, no shadows, no hallucinations, just a tall mother f*cking alien staring at him. It lasted about 30 seconds, he was paralysed with fear looking at it, then it dissapeared. He actually had a knife in his back pocket that he managed to get out and flicked open, and it was like he got the feeling that it was not going to hurt him, and he said back to it in his mind "Im just being careful". Then it raised its hand and disappeared. This could not have been just his imagination because he said "it was crazy because I always thought these guys were small, like 4 feet tall"...After it he went into his house and started reading a book that one of his friends gave him and guess what page he turned to and started reading about....you guessed it, tall grays!! This synchronicity actually freaked him out more than just seeing the thing.

I wouldn't worry about it Falvion.  It was probably just swamp gas or a flock of geese.

And Nyarlathotep, interesting stories. I only told two of my friends--one was on the phone with me when I saw the first one--and they were both like, "Oh... isn't that nice?" And these are two that have similar interests with me. The rest of my people... well, they already think I'm a loopy old broad, so why add fuel to the fire? smile It's like folks are saying in Alex's thread about how to find others like us--not everyone will know how to respond to these things. I'm glad your family were open to you about it.

And I'm not worried, Nexus. Just sharing the oddness. smile

Thanks, guys.

Cheers

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

thats interesting. Herez something that i can personally add of my experience. I have never seen a UFO. but I have seen a bright light like a star in broad day light once when i was really upset and I even cut my hand by punching on a mirror and breaking it. I was really upset that day and it was one of those depressing days and I always look at the sky for stars and I like it when i see them and feel good. So, I went on to my terrace and I was like still depressed and looked upto the sky and found this star but I really took it as a star that day.

My next encounter was when i was flying a kite. I live in india and we usually fly this small kites and we even have kites festival and then i saw this star once again only to find as if a huge bulb of light slowly moving and even that seemed like a star but it kept on moving which convinced me to say it was some flying object or a lit up balloon.

Now, this was one of those times I was soo upset that I was literally going to bang the shit out of cops or anyone who would talk to me wrong or say anything cuz I felt like the whole friggin world is alien and I was really upset and wanted to just get away cuz i cannot meditate quitely and my family always playing this metaphorical games on me to bend my will and I went to this place called I remember it Arora Scientific Research Area even tho it was restricted i did go in there to find a quite place and sat by this small clif like thing and I cried the shit out of me shouting with all my force to see what the f*ck is wrong with the world why do i feel like the last one alive and everyone is trying to bug the shit out of me and once again when i got back to normal and was still upset i saw this star like light but this time it was really close and it started moving away with glowing brighter and getting dimmer I am sure it wasn't an aeroplane it went really slow and it kept on glowing and dimming till it disappeared.

but then again i can't realy take a stand on them saying they were UFO's but thats something i wanted to share :-)

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

Wow, that must be connected to your feelings somehow. Could be the matrix is trying trigger these bad feeling is you, and the thing you see is collecting your released energy.

I feel like that sometimes actually, I don't actually know anyone in person who will entertain the thought of aliens/conspiracy/alternate history/illuminati, only specific parts or none at all.

I've seen 2 UFOs. One in August this year, I was star gazing outside my house and a black triangle flew across the sky, i could just make it out because it was a perfectly clear night, I guess it was a TR-3B.

The other was at my Uni. I was going to a lecture with my mate, stepped out of my flat and walked down the path, there it was hung in the sky, not moving. A little sphere away in the distance. Funny thing was I looked straight at it, and I could almost sense that the chaps aboard were watching me or something. I walked with my friend for about a minute, still looking at it, then the thought of pointing it out went through my mind. Almost instantly, a response came into my mind 'Do that, and it'll disappear.' So I began raising my arm and said 'Look up...' As my arm was half raised the sphere phased and vanished. I havn't told anyone else about these two occurences before now.

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks for your interesting stories, Eon and Everbright. I don't know what they all are, either, but they're interesting, eh?

Eon, I think Everbright may be on to something when saying your sighting might be "things" playing with you and your emotions. All I can say is, you're not alone. We all feel disconnected and desperate sometimes.

I respectfully direct you to Lyra's website: in2worlds.net

She has many articles dealing with this kind of interference that may help you make some sense of what you're going through, and possibly give you a few tips to deal with it.

Stay strong.

Cheers

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

I'm a newbie here who's seen and experienced some very bizarre things for over 10 years. It wasn't until I found this website a few weeks ago that I finally realized that I'm not alone- I can't tell you what a relief it's been!!  I can relate to the 'translucent pearly gleam' that Falvion talks about because back in 2000 I had my most interesting ufo sighting. I was taking a late afternoon walk one day and noticed something that looked like a bright light in the sky near the east horizon. It was moving too slow to be a airplane and moving too fast to be a planet or star- but it was the perfectly orb shaped bright light that caught my attention.

I slowed to a snail pace to REALLY check this thing out and noticed it going one direction, then the other and really felt in that moment that I was being toyed with. I had already been having a really emotionally trying day and maybe that's why I immediately became enraged and basically told it with my mind that if you're so damn tough why don't you prove it then, instead of trying to cover as an airplane ( which is something I had seen several times before as well, but almost always at night) Just then it almost instantly morphed into a perfect triangle of three smaller equal sized lights, then just as if to show off a little and make sure it was burned into my mind, maybe five seconds later (just long enough for my jaw to drop!!) morphed back to the orb shape (though larger than before) and for lack of better term it seemed to take off into warp hyper speed and was gone in a fraction of a second..

This is a very vivid memory still and when I think about it now it all happened so fast, I can't believe I had the guts to challenge it! I didn't have time to be freaked out until it was gone and then I was thinking 'Oh my GOD, What was I thinking?? Did I just made things worse for myself??' I guess I'm just the kind of person who demands the truth even though it almost always seems to screw with my mind a lot more than the denial.

Does anyone else feel that experiences seem to come out of left field, even when you're not even seeking them- I've felt like a magnet for weirdness for so long it's hard to admit these things to myself (let alone a message board) without being terrified that I'll only make it more intense?? It seems to me that just because I demand the truth- I attract the truth? Just finding sites like this that have finally confirmed many things I already 'knew' has seemed to make me a target for more attacks. Though just deciding not to be a victim to them anymore has helped somewhat. Any other tips on how to protect yourself in these trying times??

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

Welcome, Cosmosis!

It's also been my experience that when you are learning and making the effort to become more spiritual, "things" tend to be drawn to you. It's as though they're challenging you to continue in spite of the weirdness or to give in and let your fear stop you. Do your best not to let your fear get the better of you, though, because it's like candy for them. Laugh at them instead, or confront them and demand that they leave you alone.

I find it helps, when I feel an "episode" coming on, to surround myself with a protective light and state my firm intention to remain undisturbed and peaceful. If you like, you can invite your angels, your higher self or any being of light interested in your wellbeing to come and surround and protect you.

These are simply things that have worked for me in the past, and are by no means the only things you can do. I therefore refer you to these threads, both in this section:

forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=183 The "Implants" thread

forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=5960  "Defeated abduction attempt" thread

The "Implants" thread is long, but worth the attention. It helped me through a fairly active time of interference not so long ago.

The "Defeated abduction attempt" thread is how one of our own got the upper hand in a bad situation. You might find some pointers there, too.

Good luck, and just keep doing what you do. smile

Cheers
