Re: The Integratron In Landers

I wonder if anyone here has visited the Integratron and what the impressions were of the visit. Too bad it was never completed and some key machines and notebooks were vandalized after the building fell into disarray.

But there are some clues on how it was supposed to work. The inventor said it was based on the works of Townsend Brown, Lakhovsky, and Tesla. And inside the wooden dome of the Integratron is a spiral web of copper wires. From what I read, something rimming the dome was supposed to spin and produce a high voltage field that would charge up these wires, and the field would work to rejuvenate people inside and possibly even act as a time machine.

Here is an image from Townsend Brown's patent 3187206:

It's a cross section of an antigravity lifter, a balsawood umbrella with a spiral grid of wires, connected through an insulating rod to a metal sphere or cup at the bottom. A high voltage generators was connected between the two and this would make an asymmetric static electric field, causing the entire thing to move towards the umbrella part. The asymmetry in the electric field turned part of it gravitational. Compare that to the Integratron dome - same basic idea.

Then there's Lakhovsky - http://rexresearch.com/lakhov/lakhusps.htm  whose device consisted of a Tesla coil connected to a special antenna shaped like a circular labyrinth. The antenna emitted special healing rays this way. So it's a little similar to the Townsend Brown device except it uses a high frequency instead of constant signal.

What does all this mean? That George van Tassel had the right idea, and that it may be possible to either finish the Integratron or else build a smaller version that could be used for healing and rejuvenation purposes. Would it be a miracle? Or would it be secretly dangerous like the sarcophagus in Stargate?

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: The Integratron In Landers

I've heard facinating stories about George and his Integratron.
