Past lifes.

*Disclaimer: drunk and confused.*

Do the experiences of past lifes affect the actions of your current life? In my case, I am not 'sold' on being able to recount past lifes because I've never had a definitive experience about one. However I have had two experiences regarding Templars and Lemuria. One time I was looking at a map of Lemuria south of India and I felt happiness about the continent, as if I had lived there and felt that times there were good times. Now, I love Indian food, can't get enough of the stuff and deserve a customer loyalty card from my local Bombay spice for all the Fish Biriyanis, Onion Bahjis and Peshwari Naans I've order from there.

The other was when I had a thought about being a Templar previously. I considered it one day infront of my computer (where I spend most of my time) and had a tingling sensation in my left prefontal cortext (on my forehead) as if there was some connection. Now, whenever I've got my Tarot card on my table in my room and think that someone is about to walk it I am overcome with fear and quickly shift the deck into my desk where it will not be noticed. It's strange the fear I feel, it comes from my heart and is very very real. Now I think the Templars were persucuted for their dealings with the occult and many met their fate at the burning stake. Here, I have a love of wargames like Medieval Total War, board games like Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons and am in love with El Cid. That's all the frills, what really gets me is the intense fear when I think someone will walk in on me messing around with Tarot Cards.

Merry Christmas

Re: Past lifes.

Hello Mahatma,

Ok im with family while I write this reply, so, please forgive me if I do not seem to be answering very well.

Your opening question (nicely made) was; "Do the experiences of past lifes affect the actions of your current life?"

Interesting question, I have had 3 PLR my self this year, so I have some knoweledge and understanding although not a huge amount. My advanced hypnotherapist reckons some PLR may be real past lives and some may not be, some may be inventions by the mind that help us understand our selves. So thats two types of past lives (PL).

To answer your question from my limited experience/understanding I would say that our past lives will influence us regardless of if we are aware of it, and so, I would answer yes to your question. More specifically things we do not let go of, or things we do not learn in past lives would seem to affect us in this life. Having read the book "Courages souls" (I can get the author and ISBN if you need it) suggests that sometimes we have multiple lives trying to learn the same lessons.

My PLR sessions have been a combination of experiencing past lives whilst my hypnotherapist (advanced in this case) guides me to look as various aspects, like key moments marriages, or other adhoc important aspects) and death scenes etc. It has opened me up to understand where I am at from a persepctive based on the progression of past lives leading into this life. Seeing myself as a product from previous lives is very interesting and useful. Im not sure im explaining myself very well now, things are very distracting at home (being Christmas day), and no end of interuptions (voices and activities) that Inormaly do not have.

I think I maye have answered your question, if not, please ask me more.

All the best, and merry Christmas to you and all the people in Noble Realms :-)

Re: Past lifes.

I apologize if my post does not directly answer you question. But here is what I think -

With regards to past life memories I always ask the question - What would the difference between accessing past life memories and psychic/remote viewing be? How does one verify the information gained in this way? Suppose reincarnation is real. Suppose in one of my past lives I watch a movie that really moves me emotionally. I am completely immersed in the experience of watching the film - I feel like one of the characters. His life becomes mine for the duration of the movie. Then, in my next life I do a past life regression session and I access this particular memory. Will I be able to tell who the real 'I' was - the real 'I' watching the movie in the theater, or the temporary one that I took on as I got so deeply engrossed with the movie character? Do you realize that we actually do this all the time? We move in and out of existence, taking different and sometimes completely contradicting roles, or simply fazing out of existence as we stop being aware of ourselves, either during sleep or just by being passive in waking life.

I think that you first have to be firmly established in the fact that reincarnation is real in the form that it is presented today. Secondly, you have to make sure that the way of acquiring information in this way is capable differentiating between past life memories and the psychic viewing.

Re: Past lifes.

I think we all, those who are in tune, that is, have at least some access to past life experiences. I know I do. I too wonder sometimes why the experiences, some of which are really bad, tend to come again and again? I have seen my death in a past life many times, it's always the same, and there is no real way it could happen that way again, so why?

Re: Past lifes.

Pastlife memories and psychic viewing (or remote viewing) have distinctly different feels to them. In the latter, you are seeing something that you have never seen before, and most likely it is happening presently. In the former, you are "remembering" and this feels quite different.

In comparison, doesn't it feel different to look through a long tube than to remember having looked through a long tube once?

It's interesting. I read once that death isn't the traumatic experience of life, birth is!

I hope Lyra chimes in with her thoughts. She's been interested in this for some time now, and has shared some truly fascinating experiences regarding past lives on this forum before.

Whether or not its the real deal is anyone's guess, but there is a lot of stuff about past lives in some of those Desteni Production videos, and it points out in one of them that birth is so traumatic that we have to remember afterwards who and what we are.

So are some Deja Vus reoccuring memories from past lives, or are they all flashes from other time lines?

Re: Past lifes.

I dig the concept of multi-simultaneous incarnations rather than sequential REincarnations. What this means is that, through multi-simultaneous incarnations, your Higher Self is experiencing all of your incarnations at ONCE through all of time. Time does not exist for your higher self, not the way you experience time. In that, you actually have a direct connection to all your other incarnations in this current life. There is no "god", only your Higher Self. There are hundreds of different "yous" strewn throughout history, at all levels of advancement. Some of your incarnations are more advanced than others which, when you realize this, takes a load off your shoulders in this life when you might think "im not good enough". There are parts of yourself which are beyond your current imagination, and some of these parts even exist in the future. If you relax and just experience this current incarnation for the level of experience it is currently at then all the worry about "karma" from "past lives" gets kicked right out the door. Your Higher Self "downloads" massive amounts of experience from all of these incarnations, and it is beyond good/bad left/right bullshit. Some incarnations you probably died at birth because you needed to stick your toe in the water and experience that, in other lives you are an alcoholic, in another life you are a scholar, in another life you are a construction worker, in another life you are murdered, in another life you commit suicide, in yet another life you live to be 120 years old in japan. All races, all ages, all experience are being "downloaded" into the Higher Self at ONCE. It is not sequential meaning one after another after another. It is multi-simultaneous meaning all at once RAPID evolution for your Higher Self. All Higher Selves who CHOSE the multi-simultaneous path did so for rapid evolutionary purposes, and we will leave all the sequentials in the universe in the dust because they progress VERY slowly and are slaves to technology as being a crutch for their evolution. We do not need technology, it is just another experience for us to rapidly evolve beyond it. By the time this Game is over, we will not even need technology to travel throughout the universe, to traverse higher dimensions, etc etc. Sequential beings DO need technology for this, and in that are extremely limited and literally "stuck" in 3D. Some of these beings want us to be stuck in 3D as well, but it will not work because we are evolving too rapidly. There are entities out there trying like MAD HELL to slow us down, but it will not work. This End Game WILL play out, and by the time it is over there will be a paradigm shift for all people who posess Higher Self Intelligence. All the Sequential Minions will be stuck here, and we will be gone to god knows where far beyond their reach in other dimensions to absorb yet more experience in the infinite universe.

Desteni is a slithering, slimy cunt who couldnt read a book if her life depended on it and all the shit for brains who follow her are quite proud of being illiterate and are so megalomaniacal as to make one physically ill if they tried to understand what exactly makes them tick.  It is put out there to mislead people, and honestly anyone who buys into that garbage deserves to be mislead.

Then again, its just more experience to absorb anyway so more power to you.

GenSek, I have to believe that you do not accept anything written in the Old or New Testament.  Due to lack of proof that the words in the Bible was in fact written or even handed down directly to those who wrote it.  You have to simply accept it on the words of whoever it is that told you God wrote the words or spoke them to a scribe.  When having a memory of a past life or remote viewing, I would submit that it is at the very least, the higher mind (Spirit) in charge of this.

Nyarlathotep, your going to get picked on again, if you continue cussing the female gender. big_smile

Can you share your past life memories? And what makes you confident that it is, in fact, memories of your past life?

What is the connection between all these different variants of you? An alcoholic, a scholar, a murderer, a victim?

Would it be far-fetched to say that I am actually you? Or that any other person, or creature, or thing is actually you, and I?

No I don't. Major trouble starts when people accept it on the words of others. It can be okay to trust somebody's word in small matters because you risk is limited. Not so with the Bible, because it demands your full allegiance and your ass is at stake.

Antaeus wrote:

Maybe so. But after having spent 15 years as a Christian, I know better than to jump to conclusions and be out in the streets in 5 minutes preaching about it. If it is indeed some higher spirit or mind, I would still question its motives. Why did it start talking to me all of a sudden? Why show me the visions now? Where was it before? What else does it have in store for me? Any more friggin' surprises?

I am amazed at the people who embrace anything that comes in their way that bears at least some resemblance of good will. And they accept it wholeheartedly, without reserve. "Oh, I got a glimpse of my past life! My Higher Self must be finally revealing things to me because I am enlightened now! I am ascending! Hurray!" How about looking around first and seeing how things generally proceed in real life? Cattle and pigs are usually well fed before they are slaughtered. The Nazis told the Jews to go take a shower, instead they were gassed. The governments tell their people to give up their rights for the sake of national security and then what follows is the Gulags and Guantanamo Bays.

The simple truth of life is that everything and everyone is a food or energy source for something or someone else. If there are higher realms and higher entities, they also need food and energy. They are not purely good or purely evil. They just want to survive. Trusting them without any second thoughts can be a grave mistake.

Re: Past lifes.

Mahatma:

Do the experiences of past lifes affect the actions of your current life?

MM: In my way of thinking, yes they do. For instance, in a past life a man drowns. In this life, he is afraid of water. A person is shot in the back in a PL. In this life they are plagued with back pains. I began to remember my past life, the most recent, as a small boy. As an older adult, now I have "flashbacks" of battle noise and such. It wakes me at times, in a cold sweat.

Funny you mention the Templar's, I have a distant relative that was a Templar, according to genealogy records, his name was Morgan. He came to the US in 1432. I have always felt a connection to them, even though I now know the truth about what happened to them, and how they became the Freemasons. I went on a Grail search a few years ago that took two years of my life to complete, but it was worth it.

GenSek:

What would the difference between accessing past life memories and psychic/remote viewing be?

MM:Big difference. A past life remembrance is just that, you consciously remember some event that actually happened you you, the real you, the Spirit you, and a remote viewer remotely "views" an event in real time, in another place. Check these links for further on remote viewing:
http://www.remote-viewing.com/indexmain.html
http://www.remoteviewing.com/

How does one verify the information gained in this way?

MM: From a past life, sometimes one can find history on the person/event that correlates what they remember. Remote Viewing has been scientifically proved beyond doubt. The CIA ran a program for years to spy on the Russians, and others in this way.

I think that you first have to be firmly established in the fact that reincarnation is real in the form that it is presented today.

MM: Absolutely correct. Think about it...if we all had but one life to learn all of life's lessons, we would never be able to do it.

Nyarlathotep, you explain it very well.

This I found interesting, because I've always had a similar connection to Egypt, and ancient Egyptian culture in general. When I was younger everything egyptian fascinated me, and that was also where I got my "higher" name Pharos, through a similar connection.

I've also had an interesting experience with the constellation Orion. I know it is an all-year-round constellation, but whenever I look up, I seem to look at wherever he is in the sky. I some how always know where he'll be, and whenever I look at him I get this feeling of comfortable familiarity, like you would feel when walking into your old bedroom in your childhood home... When I consciously considered this, it made me very curious as to why I would get that feeling from Orion. I'm still working on discovering the Egyptian connection, let alone a possible extra-terrestrial one..

Would anyone have any insight into this?
