Topic: What is the point of surviving/living?

Every week I read about another conspiracy theory of how the masons / government / aliens are trying to kill us off, or make us complacent sheep to their regimes they have set up.  These posts are usually followed by those who say, "I'll fight my way to survive what ever they throw at me.", or people who claim it's all "B.S.".

What I still don't understand is.... what is the point of surviving?  Why are we even living in the first place?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most people just say were here:

1.  To Learn : 99% of the stuff that is taught to us, is all about how to survive in this one little crazy world, so what are we really learning spiritually that will last us longer then death?  Were all going to die someday from this planet, and none of us have learned anything that will last us on our journey.  (Many near-death expereince reports say were reincarnated back to this planet, and everything we learned in our previous lifes we won't remember.  So what is the point of learning, if were just going to forget all that we were/are when we are reincarnated back here again?)

2.  To Love / Get a long with each other :  The majority of us do love, and get along with each other,  it's these darker-minded/rule-makers that are causing all the problems.

3.  This Is A Test :  A test to see if were more STO or STS?  A test of what?  And why would we need to be tested?

4.  Were stuck in the matrix/duality. To get out you have to connect with your zero point / heart, and go out your assemblage point when you die.  The astral world  is an illusion.  It's where heaven/hell/ angels / demons/ fairies/ dragons/reincarnation exist.  It's where most people who die end up because they forgot the knowledge of the sacred heart/ zero point.  Our true home is within the heart center / zero point?

#4 seems to make the most sense to me out of all of them...

Seriously what is the point of living?  Why are we here in the first place to deal with this crazy world?
There's been more information coming out that we aren't the first civilization that existed on this planet.
That everything were expereincing is all just a cycle of the same events, with different character names
that have happened already in a different time.

So can someone tell me what is the point of living?  Why do we even bother?

A Golden Tear

To feel: the greatest gift we were given; the reminder we exist as part of a divine legacy.

Sitting stone-faced in the glow of the PC screen;
Cellphone pressed to ear in a familiar self-important pose;
Dreams of growth in high-tech stock;
Years of networking off the clock

Commuting location to location at breakneck speed;
Coffee skillfully slurped over perfect teeth;
Self-improvement tapes wearing noticeably thin;
This is the pace we set to succeed

How high can we climb the ladder of dreams?
How far can we fly in pursuit of goals?
Where does this take us?
Will we ever know?
When will we get there?
How fast can we go?

The promise of prosperity
Requires uncluttered clarity;
A cubicle needs some clear-cut order
In order to see vaguely
What purpose for our propensity
To trade life for life after

The deceit of wealth and riches
Though hard for one to grasp,
It falls through our fingers
As we reach for the ring of brass;
A ladder has it's braces,
It's gaps of gaping spaces;
Offensive to the thinker,
While those above must tinker
With the rules that guide us;
Unwritten laws to follow
And why we often hide trust

A maverick sees the structure;
A glowing light uncovers
The lies;
The words not of the wise;
Electric phases,
Titillating phrases,
Of Heaven on sale,
The Holy Grail,
The Lord's gift
Wrapped in golden foil,
With bows of lace and ribbon,
The gift of life on layaway
For someone else to claim

In all the leaves that fall,
And all the falls before us,
Can anyone remember
Who didn't love to wander
Through a sycamore forest?
Hand in hand with nature,
Thinking of the souls that came here;
The ones that lived and loved before us,
Now singing in the angel's chorus

The treasures of a life mundane,
Seldom worth the time and pain;
If in the end as games are played,
The joy of playing outweighs the losses,
Winners we are over bosses;
The passion for a life of fashion:
Stealing glances,
Stealing chances;
Never knowing what it costs us

Think before your time runs out;
Before the time to think about
The purpose for a life and dreams
To climb the heights, to forge the streams;
Are you living in a dream,
Or just surviving as it seems?

To live another day
After traveling all this way;
Has it occurred that those on top
Haven't stopped to look about;
Or aren't about to look profound
And see the beauty all around;
For if they spend a lick of time
Pondering death while sipping wine,
They might decide to change the way
They dictate orders, and give the pay

Must we climb before we see
The majesty in a redwood tree;
Or the wealth of treasures in a life,
The simple pleasures with a wife,
The magnificence of the sycamore tree,
The riches given to the free?

We seldom choose the path we take;
To make a change we hesitate;
A life we love, a job we hate;
A chance to grow or vacillate;
In God We Trust reluctantly;
We chase our wants incessantly;
We save some cash, but never life;
When its gone its lost

For the image of integrity
The rich create prosperity;
From design to feel superior
The rich create the poor

The sun and moon, the galaxy,
Simply there for us to see;
Birds and bees eternally free,
As we can see the Joshua tree;
The bill for this, this majesty,
This sapphire rock of diversity,
This paradoxical opportunity,
Is lost when we are gone

Eternal life comes certainly
To those who pay the price;
For others who smother
The breath of life
From every one they hire,
They owe a bill they never pay,
A never ending cost

For all the souls who sell their life,
For all the gluttony,
For all the choices never chosen,
All the gold is lost

In the end we never send
To earth a royalty,
For all the songs we play and sing
For all eternity;
But if you like to hear the wind
A whistling through a tree,
Just ask yourself what song to sing;
And please remember me

Not to undermine the thread, but that's really something you've got to figure out for yourself.

Sure, a lot about this world sucks.  Get over it.  You're here.  If you drove cross-country to have a good time in New York and then you found out that New York mostly sucks, would you turn around and drive home?  Or would you make the best of it?

Not to get Hallmark on you, but happiness comes from within.  Do you think that if you weren't on this plane that you'd be automatically happy?  And the absence of problems isn't happiness.

You can't change a tiger's stripes,
but you can avoid its teeth.

Hello there Goof, I am Spi.

Let me help you about those numbers you listed, remember, I don't speak for everyone. Noble Realms is made up of diverse people.

First, Life is not simply about existence. Moving on...

Learning: Life is less than of survival... Life is more like a school. We have hard times remembering our past lives because our DNA has not been activated yet, in fact, it was degenerated (I blame the Lizards). It can be activated by practicing spirituality, I have a friend that activated these 12 strands and starting to remember more and more.

Love: Connects us to each other, as we hold hands, we are able to endure the rough edges of Life. If we detach from one another... It won't be good to say.

Test: A test of individuality. How we began to become individual then come back from this crazy adventure called Life.

Matrix: Physical realm is an illusion. If you find the astral realms to be hard to believe, OK - You don't have to believe, just know what is. To be clear, don't be pessimistic and think it's a trap, this is only part of the journey.

Life is an infinity not eternity. Life isn't fair, OK, deal with it. Be a Creator not a victim.

Re: What is the point of surviving/living?

I also wonder what I am living for, the best answer I have come up with is 'to live'. 'To live' isn't the same as 'to breath' mind you. I can't explain what I mean with 'to live' but I'm sure you have had glimpses of what I'm talking about.

"Violence solves everything. If it's not solving your problems, you aren't using enough of it."

Re: What is the point of surviving/living?

I don't think your memories are lost when you are reborn, but you don't have access to them. To access them is the fruit of attainment. Every lifetime you life brings you closer to that attainment, if such is what you move toward.

The 'zero-point' you mentioned in #4 is also available to you in life. It is always there, always has been, and always will. To win its knowledge is also the fruit of attainment. You can see it right this second if you stop looking. An eye cannot see itself. Only when it stops looking will it see, and when it sees it understands what it sees. In this understanding is self-realization, the true awareness of zero-point.

If one's identity is understood to be the zero-point and not the body or individual incarnation the pains and desires of life will seem small, much smaller. Some have said it takes eons and eons to reach the full awareness of this zero-point. But then, that's no time at all, because the zero-point is everywhere and everywhen. So what is a few billion years?

Abide not in the struggle and suffering of your body in this life. See that your body is a divine gift, a creature fully equipped to have the human experience. The human experience is a precious thing, and you are fortunate to have it. Even if you reincarnate millions of times, you can enjoy it. Better you forget the lifetimes, so you don't get bored. Experience the world and its pleasures, but do not be attached. When you are ready you experience the freedom you already have and you will no longer feel trapped here.

Ultimately there is only  force that can contain your conscious essence here on this planet. That is you. Your karma, and your mind. Accept your karma gratefully as it ripens, and add not to it so that become freed of binding energies. Your mind is the sky of this planet, just as expansive and beautiful. Maybe you have it caught in a snow-globe. Allow your awareness to fill the vast expansiveness of this sky, this mind. Your body will become the earth. You will understand the oneness and you will gloriously behold the glorious existence of your individual being-ness.

How? Although, I understand that whatever method explained would be slightly different for everyone in some way, though.

Re: What is the point of surviving/living?

Ive contemplated this too.  And many times in quite a disparaged state.  I was reminding myself today of exactly why, and why we can't see this fact.  There has been some sort of veil pulled over our eyes hiding the truly incredible nature of existence.  I think that a discovery was made as to how to blind humans from this feeling, for what reason I don't know, only that it has been done because the potential exists and has somehow been kept from us.  I find that simply focusing only on positive thoughts has had helped me quite a bit to climb out of the dispare.  I think in some ways we exist simply because that is the only choice that is available to us.  I think some people are spiritually masochistic and may like this place we have here.  I think for others a place like this planet helps souls to realize why they don't want to be like the evil beings you mention.  It helps those that have fallen fallow in the heavenly planes, that upon coming here they are spurned into action.  They are driven by their unease of being here.  Possibly to make the world a better place, possibly just to improve themselves.  If nothing else I would say this planet catalyzes spiritual development in a negative or positive manner.

Maybe the point of surviving/living is to discover what the point of surviving/living is!

Re: What is the point of surviving/living?

I agree with Goof. what IS the point?

As far as I can tell, we've all been thrown into the world deaf, dumb and blind to "reality". One story is as good as another because nobody can prove anything. God put us here. The reptilians put us here. We put ourselves here.

I am not motivated or encouraged by the possibility of achieving a 4D status. I have no idea what that is. I live here - in this world - in a 3 Dimensional fabric. I don't know where I came from. I don't know why I'm here. And the only clues I can get are from others in the same boat.

I search my mind and my heart daily for the lessons hidden in my experiences and every day I come away clueless...

Somebody flattens my brand new tire (for the 3rd time). What's the lesson? I don't get mail for three months and finally (duh!) figure out that someone is actually stealing it. What's the lesson? Somebody comes into my house and moves things around. What's the lesson? Somebody is tapping my phone ( I can hear them ). What's the lesson? My left ear goes deaf then I hear a long tone. Apparantly this is a symptom of mind control, or abduction. What's the lesson? My computer crashes, disks are stolen. What's the lesson?

I just cannot imagine the POINT of all this. These are not abstract notions of beings in outer space, or in another dimension. These are concrete manifestations of evil that are pushing me up against a wall.

Jesus. If there's a lesson in here somewhere I will GLADLY change whatever thinking/behaviour needs changing. The love and compassion I've always had is being beaten out of me. I'm turning into a warrior. So I echo Goof's question: what is the point?

Look at the post before you, don't they help? I once had your perception on how things went, I keep questioning myself what is the point. You know what? You'll never find out the point if you don't hold yourself together.

I am not motivated or encouraged by the possibility of achieving a 4D status. I have no idea what that is.

With that kind of attitude, you will not achieve it. The density status are here to help you remember, if you are not motivated by having no apparent idea I suggest looking it up and finding out for yourself.

Somebody flattens my brand new tire (for the 3rd time). What's the lesson? I don't get mail for three months and finally (duh!) figure out that someone is actually stealing it. What's the lesson? Life isn't fair.

If you don't agree with what we just said, then okay.

Re: What is the point of surviving/living?

Because the divine force seeks experience and you are the facilitator of that experience. Therefore you must exist to experience and hopefully learn enough for your ascension into higher planes of existence. That or be recycled into the human matrix yet again.

I believe you have answered your own question. I believe we are here to participate and experience. What perspectives we gain may be from what we have experienced and what questions we have asked of the Kosmos. To know thyself well opens many new opportunities to ask more questions.

To feel?  How is feeling pain / seperation / sick / worn / tired / diseased  a great gift?  Seems more like a curse to me.  Why should anyone have to go through any of that?  How does it remind you that your of a divine legacy?
