Re: Jack Palance

Holy shit this is crazy!  I asked my mum about it when I saw the report a few days ago.  I thought I was nuts, I could have sworn he died twice.  This is incredible.  What are the implications?  I got a very strange feeling while reading this thread, actually realizing that I'm not crazy and something extremely weird just happened.  Timeline breach, massive scale deja vu?  Seriously folks, this is mind blowing....

So all this insano whacky weirdo stuff is really nuts eh?  I really just read this post after having the same quandry......life just keeps getting more interesting.  Makes you wonder if this sort of thing has happened before...maybe we could make a list?

Jack f*cking Palance!!!  Maybe he was a Mason or something.  Why Jack Palance?

Re: Jack Palance

I met Jack Palance back in the early 80's -- my ex and I owed a production company in LA and he was one of our guests --

So, when I read of his death on 10 November it brought back a bunch of memories --

I don't remember hearing of his death before and I think I would have taken notice, having met him --

Just my input --

Re: Jack Palance

Maybe you met the Jack Palance in the timeloop where he didn't die! That's neat that you got to meet him.
A real interesting character.

Re: Jack Palance

I think I remember seeing that the Queen of England had died. 2 weeks later she was partying with Ozzy Osborne. Now that's wierd.

Just wanted to add... I thought that old horse-face died years ago too, but then she just popped back up like a jack-in-the-box.  I wondered if I was the only one!

The Queen has always been alive and well, at least in my timeline anyway. I'm wondering if people are getting confused with the Queen Mother who died about 5 years ago, aged 101.

I think you're right, Aya.  You've seen one old wrinkled queen, you've seen them all.  I must have gotten them confused.

Re: Jack Palance

Speaking of Jack Palance, one of the best roles he ever played in besides
City Slickers 1 and 2 was a movie that came out in the 80's called
Baghdad Cafe.  (Nothing to do with the current war)  He played an
artist living in an airstream trailer in Baghdad, Nevada.  It's really a
great movie which was stupidly re-done for a tv series which totally
ruined the story.  Baghdad Cafe (the movie) was truly an art film.
