Topic: Good Resources on Green Living & Sustainability

Here's a list of some good sites I know about that are all about living green and becoming sustainable.

World Changing: Another World is Here.  - Another good news & info blog

From their about us page: WorldChanging.com works from a simple premise: that the tools, models and ideas for building a better future lie all around us. That plenty of people are working on tools for change, but the fields in which they work remain unconnected. That the motive, means and opportunity for profound positive change are already present. That another world is not just possible, it's here. We only need to put the pieces together.

Re: Good Resources on Green Living & Sustainability

Hi...thanks for excellent links.   I was not aware of some of them.

In gratitude, here's my fave: www.sustainabletable.org

Tried to put it on "links' but w/ my pitiful pc skills (using that word very loosely!) I think ended it up as a topic. Ah well.  This may be the right place!

I am a retired teacher.  I have seen firsthand the power of introducing kids to good values, rather than waiting til they're adults and trying to wrench/lure/reason  them away from their habits. Found this site a while ago but did not register til I had something to say, which was to praise a great new kids' book Gaia Girls:Enter the Earth.  Found it thru Sustainable Table.  Bought from their website, www.gaiagirls.com, and was thrilled to see GG site has links to eco/enviro orgs for KIDS!!! (I gather the author's husband is a teacher & geek.)...so pass that to anyone who wants their kids to collect some good opinions.  Last but certainly not least, I hope you have seen "The Meatrix"  If not, prepare to be dazzled!  www.themeatrix.com

A happy and healthy New Year to you and to all.
