Hi Lakme - Thanks.  I didn't read what he said about me to be honest, I just clicked over there and saw that he started out right off the bat totally excitable and amped up, saying "Over on Noble Realms...a poster named lyra called me an arrogant bastard!"   blah blah blah.

I saw that and then had that twinge like, "oh, sorry dude.  probably shouldn't have said that."   But I didn't read the rest.   I'm kind of surprised he cared so much though, I mean, when you run your own blog site, putting yourself out there in the public spouting your loud opinions, then feedback is to be expected.  big_smile  Good and bad.  Usually people like that - males especially -  who run their mouths on a loud blog typically have thick skins.   Well, one would think, anyway.  wink  I guess he doesn't, who knows.   Besides, I thought the rest of my post intelligently explained why I thought he was missing some pieces to the puzzle and didn't have full insight going on.  I wasn't just name calling and that's it.  I don't know if he bothered to read it or not, or if his focus was all about the indignation surrounding name calling.

(hmmmmm...wonder who ran over there and "tattle taled" ?  "ooh!  ooh!  (waving hand in the air) mr. boucher!  mr. boucher!  pick me!  pick me!   I want to be your favorite pet!  let me tell you what somebody said about you!  Then you'll notice me and like me more!"  roll  )

Oh well.   It's technically a new day, a new start.   So, how about that hurricane, huh?  wink

Is thinking crazy stuff about the government controlling the weather useful? Or does it put you into some kind of whacked out Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God mindset where God has been substitute with Government?

Truth doesn't have to be useful, it just has to be true. It's a bit of a fallacy in a debate to counter logos with pathos and ethos, is it not? This same fallacy motivated those who said conspiracy theorists should go to hell for questioning the government's complicity in 9/11. The emotional impact of the tragedy was so overwhelming that discernment took a back seat to hysteria. Sure, conspiracy theories can go off the deep end, but so can the backlash against them.

It helps to investigate before discarding. For instance, one conspiracy theory says HAARP played a role in steering the hurricane. If true, then an absence of HAARP activity during August would entirely disprove this theory. If there is activity, then while this does not necessarily prove the theory, it gives it enough plausibility to not be discarded so irrationally. So, we take a trip to the HAARP site and check for ourselves http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/mm/wf.html

Re: My take on Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath

Hi all, been away for a while, good to be back, but still no regular computer access. Just a heads up.

My understanding is that Katrina is the result of a lot of stored karma. Huge discharge that was neccessary to remind us the the planet is a major player on this stage too, and that nobody had better forget it. (PS: more hurricanes are on the way including my prediction that Florida will be hit by 3 major huricanes within 48 hours later this month) Very positive now, since all the polish of TPTB have managed to shine over for the past while has been completely blown away, and now someone has so go and start answering all those hard (and politically embarassing) questions about the thinly veiled racism in the media coverage, the Bush administration's deliberately slow response, and why the money that was supposed to fix the levees in New Orleans went over to Iraq instead.

All the greed of the oil industry and it's ties to the war in Iraq are going to be exposed and attacked as well. The whole situation reeks of positive change, because if it gets much worse, a change in our political landscape can and will be so sudden that it could possibly jeopardize ALL the 4D STS plans for global domination if the neo-cons/religious right gets the boot in the upcoming mid-term elections.

That is assuming Diebold is forced to produce a verifiable paper trail this time...

Re: My take on Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath

About the lack of response,  the waiting to see the needs seems to be developing into a new mantra.  I got this from the Salvation Army site:

Salvation Army wrote:

Financial contributions are greatly needed, and provide The Salvation Army with the funds to purchase what storm victims need. They also allow The Salvation Army to assess the unique needs of individuals and families, as well as put money back into the economy of those communities affected by the disaster.
...
Due to the uncertainty of specific needs and a desire for The Salvation Army to meet as many of those needs as possible, we are not accepting in kind donations at this time. Please take all donations of clothing to your local thrift store to assist them in continued service to your community. Corporations wishing to make in kind donations may contact 1-888-363-2769

http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/www_usn.nsf

I have been trying to brainstorm some possible solutions and was thinking of the Salvation Army, because I know how they operate and it would be no big deal for them to send huge amounts of clothing to the area.  But they are 'uncertain' of the  "specific needs".  roll

By the way, has it been established that there was no one from NR affected by the storms and in need?  I think this question was asked earlier and I haven't seen any follow up.  Am hoping that is a good sign.

Never Give Up!

Re: My take on Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath

Another take on the world scenarios taking place by Geradus.

Excerpt from http://www.soulwise.net/25a-tgs.htm

My view is that all happenings in our world - from the past to the present and into the future - are happenings that are part of a scheduled, but flexible scenario. Cycle in, cycle out, what happens in our world is following a certain curriculum. These plans or schedules are indeed flexible, for not all scenarios work out exactly the way they have been planned. We as human beings have free will and sometimes, because of our free will, we change the original plan. Naturally there are backup plans within backup plans and in the end, mankind as a species, will experience the necessary realities. The planned but flexible scenarios are implemented, by what I call TAT (The Almighty Trinity). This Trinity is not God, but consists of beings and people who are in charge of our world. The very top rulers of this Trinity have their existence in higher densities. It is their responsibility to do whatever is necessary. These beings play their roles in these higher densities in the same manner as that we on earth play our roles as human beings. The universe is an infinite stage and there are only actors playing roles. The higher or greater the role - the greater the responsibility...

The beings or people, who are planning and allowing the scenarios to be played on our world, do not have a good or bad orientation. All of them, as well as human kind, are inspired by higher forces and we all act according to our inspirations. Many results of these actions might even seem evil to many people, but I do not agree with that. Good or bad is a human acknowledgement and this includes what some people call evil. We, the people of the world are souls living in human bodies and we are here to experience what it is like to be human. This includes the full gamut of human experiences! We all play our roles and by means of Insight, Knowledge and Understanding which is Love, we slowly but surely pass through Life from density to density. Human life is an awakening process that slowly brings us to higher levels of awareness. As a matter of fact, all of us are existing in all levels of awareness simultaneously already - we are multi-density beings...

During the end of the present cycle of Life on earth, the system of ruling the earth has become a matter of power and greed. This is unavoidable in a "Global Commercial Governing System" for the rulers go for the bottom line only. Those in charge are not necessarily spiritually aware and the result is deceit and lies. On top of that, the rulers are convinced that there are too many of us. Therefore, all kinds of plans are made to eliminate a great portion of the human population. Whether this will happen or not is not for sure. There might be extra-ordinary circumstances that will change the way the earth is ruled. People just might wake up by the millions and demand to rule for the people by the people. We live in very interesting times...

This special note is meant to assure the reader, that there are no beings or persons who we can blame for what happens, all things happen according to the collective consciousness of all involved. We are engaged in an awakening curriculum of our own choosing. We as human beings are instruments of our soul and only a few of us are the main players on this worldly stage. We all follow the lines of our inspirations and act upon them. The collective reality we create is manifested from within. This reality is based upon the level of our awareness and understanding. For most people human life is an enormous puzzle. Only a few see through the many scenarios and illusions. All things are for the best of All...

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: My take on Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath

Montalk wrote in this article  http://montalk.net/matrix/67/the-art-of … sional-war

first, understand that you only experience what you need or choose to experience, and what you need to experience was chosen by you at some other time or level of being. Therefore, you are in some way responsible for all that happens to you, whether you created it or allowed it. The attacks you receive ultimately serve to teach you lessons, and how successfully you defend against these attacks determines how easily you learn your lesson. Learning a lesson before the experience often voids the necessity of having to experience it.

Second, in the absolute sense the Matrix Control System serves to accelerate your spiritual growth, and although its agents see you as the enemy, know that you can utilize them as teachers. You do not need to seek them out, for they will find you as you progress in your learning path. Most importantly, know that you will never be given anything you cannot choose to handle successfully.

I feel thats wise and i am trying to see world scenarios and events with this in mind as well as personal things that happen in my life.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: My take on Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath

I've enjoyed reading through this thread.  I do feel more in sync with
the higher and bigger perspectives posted by Barefoot Doc from Gerardus
and Montalk, and with Andy's postings from Tom Bearden, than with endless discussions of whether the disaster was an engineered event.  It happened, and all the speculation in the world isn't going to change that.  We have to trust that there's a higher purpose behind it all, and deal with it in the way that is right for us.

For a long time there have been prophecies of Earth changes accompanying the Shift, and as I'm sure most of the readers at NR are aware, Katrina is far from being an isolated example.

This from Simon Hunt came in through Peter Farley today, think it's very relevant here.   Note it was written just before Katrina.

Hopi Elders Say Earth Changes Are Upon Us
by Simon Hunt

During the past week there have been a few events that deserve our
attention, thought, and examination.

In an unprecedented and totally unexpected way, Hopi Elders for the
first time in history have openly shared their sacred, and heretofore
secret prophecies with the world. Robert Ghost Wolf, noted Native
American Prophet and author arranged for two Hopi Elders to appear
for three hours on the nationally aired Art Bell show (out of
Pahrump, NV) and freely discuss their sacred, and heretofore secret
prophecies. It has been said by many who have had limited access to
the prophecies in the past, that the Hopi prophecies of the coming
earth changes are among the most ancient and accurate available. The
Elders have come forth at this time because they believe that we have
passed the point of no return and major changes are imminent,
beginning within the next few months. It is their hope to "soften"
the effects by appealing to all to return to a simpler, more
spiritual way of life.

Last month at Spiritual Endeavours (and returning again this coming
month) noted author, environmentalist, and channeller, Rev. Fred
Sterling carried much the same message. Rev. Sterling
emphasized that "The Great Shift" has already begun. It is happening
now. In other related recent events, Gordon Michael Scallion, Robert
Ghost Wolf, and other modern day prophets began predicting major
Earth Changes, especially noticeable in the state of California among
other places, beginning this summer. And now the Hopi Elders have
gone on national radio with the same message.

So, the Earth is changing? The Great Shift is upon us? What is one to
do? I offer the following in reply.

First of all, if you are in denial - get over it. Open up your eyes.
Take a look around. How's the weather in your neck of the woods?
Perhaps it's a little different than it's ever been for your
locality? Try to find out what's really going on. You wont find out
by watching Hard Copy, or even the Evening News. You'll have to get
away from the latest political scandal of who is sleeping with whom
and dig just a little deeper to find the things of real importance.
Did you know that tornadoes have been spotted, for the first time in
history, that are spinning the wrong way?

Did you know that there are places in Mexico where the ground
temperature is heating up in excess of 200 degrees?
Did you know that during a seven day period in early June there were
772 earthquakes recorded on the California - Nevada border near
Mammoth Lake? (Gordon Michele Scallion and others are predicting a
volcanic eruption there this summer.)
Did you know that on May 31st, the jet stream (an extremely fast wind
current that flows through the upper atmosphere) touched ground for
the first time in recorded history?
Did you know that all over North America, migratory birds have
stopped returning to their nesting grounds? And that salmon are no
longer returning to their spawning grounds? And indigenous tribes
throughout the world have stopped having children?

Okay, so much for denial. Once you accept that change is happening,
LET GO OF FEAR. Realize that it is a time of change and not
necessarily a time of fear. Fear clouds good judgement and puts
heavy blocks between the inner intuition, which will be so important
during this time, and your conscious mind. The earth changing will
not kill you; it changes all the time! But fear, denial, and not
being open to your Inner Self and your intuition may.

Once accepted, and FEAR IS NOT AN ISSUE, investigate. Learn all you
can about what is happening. The Internet can be an invaluable tool
here. For the price of a VCR you can now interact with the
world on intimate terms from your living room or office. Through the
Internet, you'll be able to discover what you'll never hear on the
six o'clock news. You will no longer be at the mercy of news
programs governed and determined by entertainment ratings. . .

. . . A word of caution may be helpful when you begin your
investigating. When one steps out from under the umbrella of
mainstream media and begins to learn what is really happening in the
world, there is often the tendency towards anger. "Why hasn't anyone
told me this before?" "Why isn't this on the News?" "There's a
conspiracy going on to keep us in the dark!" My advise here is to let
it pass. Finding out who's responsible and the inner workings of the
government or large conglomerate corporations is a tangent that will
not only waste time, but probably lead you into deeper anger and fear
and further away from love and truth.

Instead, take the path advised by the Hopi Elders and offered to the
world on June 15 over national radio. Rediscover your
spirituality. "If you change now, and change your life around, it
will help in the alleviation of much of the terrible outcome from the
cataclysms. There is a lot in store for all of us. And the intensity
of this will be a lot less if we can all settle down and behave, and
not be in the actions that we are right now." The Hopi Elder went on
to explain that it makes no difference whether your
spirituality falls in line with an organized philosophy or religion,
or if it is something that you have come up with and practice on your
own. "Practice your spirituality, whatever it may be, like you
have never practiced it before." And realize that your consciousness
affects the outcome. Your consciousness effects everything. Realize
that your thoughts, words and actions of today contribute to what the
world will be like tomorrow.

There you have it. Four easy steps to surviving the earth changes and
all the prophecies. Keep your eyes open. Let go of fear. Learn all
you can. Live your spirituality. It all sounds pretty simple. It
almost sounds like it could even be fun. And that's a very important
point to keep in mind. Fun.

True spirituality is fun. Very big fun. Joy is probably a better
word; bliss perhaps even better. If your spiritual path is not
leading you on a path of joy, I would suggest that it's perhaps time
to start shopping around. I have come to the understanding (and it
has taken a lot of sorrow to get here) that experiencing joy is the
most spiritual thing that one can do in the course of their day. Joy
is infectious. It changes and charges the very air that you walk
through. It lightens the hearts of those around you. And in these
troubled times I can think of no better healing energy to saturate
the Earth with. Joy! Why not take a few moments during each day just
to pause and think of something that makes you very happy? Try it.
You'll like it. It might even become a habit.

Well, I guess there's only one more point that need to be addressed
here. It's usually the position adopted by most sceptics and those in
denial as a justification for their position. "What if the Hopi
Elders are wrong?"" What if Gordon Michael Scallion, Robert Ghost
Wolf, Edgar Cayce, and all those other modern day prophets are wrong?
What if the weather changes back to the way it has been in
the past? What if the birds, and the fish and babies come back? What
if there are no big earth changes? What if absolutely nothing happens
at all?

To this I can only reply, "Wouldn't that be nice?" We'd all be able
to breathe a collective sigh of relief and joy, take a look around at
the Heaven we've created here on Earth, and take great satisfaction
in the fact that we didn't have to go through Hell to get there.
Yes indeed, "WOULDN'T THAT BE NICE?"

Peter Farley's accompanying comment to the above:

Confirmation of what the Spiritual Hierarchy have been trying to get across
for years though take it all with a little more urgency, and as
katrina has shown us, the benefits of storing away some essentials
for a 'rainy day'.

Re: My take on Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath

Thanks Jen,
Your Simon Hunt post resonated a great deal with me.
I keep forgetting that here at NR people don't need to be
reminded of the doings of TPTB.
The higher perspective is the best way to look at all this.
And yes, lightening our load of baggage is a good thing to
be doing right now.  This entails deciding what is really
important and letting the rest go.
